Aluminum composite panels are now widely used in a variety of building fields. Today I'll discuss how to fold aluminum composite panels more effectively.
First and foremost, we all know that the thicker the metal skin, the easier it is to fold. To begin, we use the slotting machine to create a groove. The depth of the groove is then adjusted based on the thickness of the aluminum composite panel board. Third, we adjust the cutter head so that it is not overly exposed. Because it would be simple to scratch the aluminum skin and cause it to crack. It's all too easy to say the opposite.
There are two types of cutter heads: U-shaped and V-shaped. A U-shaped cutter head will not easily scratch the metal skin because the angle is not straight enough. The V-shaped cutter head, on the other hand, is sharp enough to straighten the angle. On the negative side, it is easy to scratch the metal skin and cause it to crack. The 6# cutter head is generally the best choice for folding a 4mm aluminum composite panel board.
Another factor to consider when folding the ACP is the thickness of the aluminum composite panel cladding. The majority of people believe that only plastic glue and raw glue can be folded. It is not correct. The intermediate PE core, which depends on the thickness of the aluminum skin, is removed by folding the aluminum composite panel cladding. Normally, ACP can be folded at 90-degree angles starting at 6 mm. Both plastic glue and raw glue are required if the bending machine is delivered with the back side on top. On the contrary, only plastic glue is needed; raw glue is unavailable.
